The "Heart and Soul" annual event will give us opportunities to take good care of each other. I am inviting you for this event on November 1st from 3-6pm. Tickets will be $20 a piece and will be sold after weekend Masses and in the office. I am thankful to George Shevenock and his family for organizing this event for many years.

It's that time of the year again! Halloween is just around the comer, and Sacred Heart Major Seminary needs your help. Each year the seminary community opens their doors and their hearts to over 2000 children from the surrounding Detroit neighborhood so that the kids can have a fun and safe place to play games and trick-or-treat. But they need your help to make this year a success! They are asking for donations of Halloween candy that will then be passed out to the many kids. If you are willing to participate in this important ministry by donating bags of candy please bring them to boxes in the vestibule of the church or the parish office.

October 5th will be the Feast Day Of St. Faustina, who died on October 5, 1938. She is known as Apostle of Divine Mercy, and for our city the patroness of our St. Faustina Parish. On this occasion, the First-Class Relic of St. Faustina will be exposed on Sunday October 4th, and for the following week, for veneration. At the end of each Mass, we will be blessed with the Relic of St. Faustina.

Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. Join us to celebrate the Blessed Mother at the outside grotto of Mary. We will be praying the Rosary and Divine Mercy. You can bring your own chair, otherwise one will be supplied. After the service, please join us for ice cream sundaes in the Family Center. In case of inclement weather, the Rosary and Divine Mercy will be said in the Church.

To enhance the safety and security of our St. Faustina parishioners and guests, will we now be locking the entry doors five minutes after Mass begins. Please strive to be on time.

We are in need of Ushers and Lectors at both of the weekend Masses. If you are interested in helping out, at the Mass you usually attend, please call the parish office at (586) 772-2720.

St. Faustina has implemented an inclement weather policy. If Warren Woods school district cancels classes because of the weather, St. Faustina's parish offices will also be closed, and there will be NO MASS that day (other than a funeral). Please watch your television or check the Warren Woods website for closure information. It will also be posted on the parish website whenever possible.
